Thanks for working on this standard. As a blogger and freelance writer, I applaud this effort. I am often approached by PR people who want to tease me with some free item, but only if I promise to write about it. That's far outside what's expected in the PR world of course and in time this standard might help markters learn.

This line confuses me:
If bloggers write about products I send them, I will proactively ask them to disclose the products’ source.

Restaurant reviewers and tech columnists do not usually write about who paid for their meal or their PalmPilot. I think readers are smart enough to realize that companies often give "review copies" of items to review and write about them. Disclosing where the item comes from takes up space and is not always necessary.
