WOM Brings ACDSee to DigiScrappers

Digital Scrapbookers download images at a rate that results in their collections growing exponentially. Organizing soon becomes an obvious necessity. In conjunction with ACDSee staff, we utilized WOM and Web 2.0 tools to introduce ACDSee's powerful organizing capabilities to digital scrapbookers.

The conversation started with a post in a forum outlining how ACDSee Photo Manager met our organizing needs. People asked questions and we responded. ACDSee provided us with high-level tech support when necessary. The interest grew and word spread. My sister and I used Google Alerts to monitor the conversation and answer questions on blogs and forums as we were notified. Soon we were creating tutorials and hosted at a friend's website. The software was embraced as a valuable tool and we continued to grow our resources. When people asked about organizing, there was a resounding public expression to use ACDSee. We established a brand within a month or so and gained some faithful evangelists.

Two months later we created a website to house our tutorials, a forum, and blog. The community at this stage was customizing the software to their needs. We gathered their tips and shared them for everyone's benefit. Troubleshooting information was also collected and posted for users. A group of evangelists started going to Digiscrapping sites and answering questions about organizing solutions and how ACDSee provides solutions.

To date we have conversations at over 50 sites. Traffic is driven to our site by users and non-users alike. It is not uncommon for someone to link to our resources within three minutes of someone posting.
Ten months later, DigiScrapInfo.com is linked with ACDSee.com. Our community knows that they can get tech support as well as find the resources they need. And they tell everyone that asks!

The Atlas Solution: Stimulate the Economy, and Creating Buzz
The client is an upscale shopping center that opened just two years ago in the middle of a working class area of Queens, New York.
