Wanted: Associate Director, Marketing Intelligence to lead marketing intelligence initiatives for data base driven marketing campaigns by developing and managing data and analytical resources, tools, and capabilities.

RTCRM believes in delivering impactful, targeted solutions that forge strong, profitable brand-consumer relationships. We're currently looking for an Associate Director, Marketing Intelligence to join our New York City office, work on major national brands, and help further our success.
Data Management
- Develops analytical techniques and tools into marketable products that fulfill needs across the client base
- Closely oversees the work of specific team-dedicated analysts to ensure current client needs for measurement and analysis are met and identify opportunities to deepen or expand client relationships
- Develops testing plans to evaluate client campaigns; evaluates the optimal contact pattern; provides periodic statistical reporting of campaign results
- Provides marketing profiles of target segments based on demographic, psychographic, geographic and lifestyle characteristics accessed through internal database review and external research
- Advises Account Management in the establishment of target acquisition strategies (through a variety of media: lists, co-ops, etc.)
- Prepares cost estimates, project budgets and RTPs for client- and non-client-related projects
Client Relations & Vendor Management
- Works with Account Management teams to maintain and grow client relationships including client pitches and new business presentations
- Coordinate and supervise vendors to ensure optimal data integrity and budget management
Staff Development/Team Building
- Supervises, trains and mentors Marketing Intelligence junior staff
- Works with VP/Director, Marketing Intelligence to manage and determine staffing and resources across all disciplines, including the identification of cross-functional and strategic needs
Our ideal candidate has exceptional skills, energy and commitment, plus:
- Bachelor's degree plus five years or more experience in analytical/planning functions within the direct marketing field
- Two or more years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS and SAS
- Ability to scope projects accurately, prioritize time well and juggle multiple projects effectively
- Excellent writing, verbal, presentation and consensus-building skills
- Ability to organize people, projects and information
- Ability to offer proactive solutions and ensure successful progression without guidance
- Ability to mentor and provide leadership across departments in a team and matrix environment
- Ability to exhibit client service approach with results-driven performance
